Half Log Mantel

Splits or cracks which run length-wise of the logs is known as checking and is caused by moisture escaping from green logs and shrinkage of the cellular structure within the log itself during the drying process. It is a natural phenomenon and is unavoidable and is part of the authentic log look that enhances the beauty of each mantel.

Each mantel has its own unique color and characteristics.

We offer kiln-dried pine mantels in 1 standard size. Contact us to inquire about custom sizes.
